Luckily, most of these ideas involve a smaller size, therefore these creative coffee table Christmas decor looks can easily be done by anyone! So, no need to worry about any of these decor ideas interfering with your view of the TV!

Some of these objects you may have at home, and other objects you could easily buy on Amazon or the dollar store.

Coffee Table Christmas Decor

1. A Very Merry Christmas Tree Display

tray with pine cones, and decorative objects on a tray

Wrapped with the pinecones and the mini tree behind is just so festive and really embraces the traditional Christmas vibe of red, white and green colors.

This wooden tray with all the objects inside scattered around is super cute and would look amazing on any coffee table for some Christmas decor. I especially like the signs on the red birdhouse and of course the stacked books saying ‘Merry Christmas’

You can remake this by getting some little knickknacks and a tray and arranging the objects to your own liking!

2. Mini Christmas Tree Tray Decor

You can’t deny that this coffee table Christmas decor idea is not unique and creative. It’s not everyday when I see a mini spruce tree standing on someone’s coffee table like this.

The cool thing is this could be real or fake, and upon the new year you could plant it outside!

As long as you don’t have anything blocking your view, trying this creative idea for your coffee table would really make the space pop and impress your family and friends!

3. Vintage Characters Christmas Coffee Table

This is another really cute and creative look with using little characters and miniature figures for your coffee table decor. The snowman, reindeer and the little person upon the tray just warms up the area a lot.

You can easily recreate this by purchasing some miniature Christmas characters. The candle is a really nice touch too. The ‘have yourself a merry little Christmas’ pillow is awesome too.

4. Christmas Coffee Table Basket with Candles

Speaking of candles, this rattan basket and the tall candle sitting next to the DIY vase and the spruce leaves adds such a pretty touch to the coffee table.

Lighting the candle basically makes it the centerpiece, and if it’s scented, you have the ability to make the whole area smell really, really good.

Super easy, find a candle or purchase one with a festive scent, and get a basket and light the candle! I can imagine it’s super comforting in the evening too.

5. Pinecones, Truck and a Bell

The plaid look here is really cool, and quite creative since it diverges from the typical red and black pattern. The bell and the truck with the Christmas tree behind makes for a really fun festive look.

I love the scattered pinecones and the way the whole coffee table tray is full and decorated.

The mini blue house reminds me of a Santa’s workshop, so I’m sure any kids would have a lot of imagination with this look.

6. Festive Christmas Gift on Coffee Table

This is my favorite creative look, and the picture explains itself. I don’t think a lot of people think about adding a wrapped gift to their coffee table.

I think you could even take it a step further and add multiple stacked presents as if they’re under the Christmas tree.

You can purchase some boxes from the dollar store and some of the plaid paper to DIY your own gift basket for your coffee table Christmas decor too!

7. Coffee Table with Festive Christmas Sign

You can also add some festive touches to your coffee table by adding a little Christmas sign, or even a countdown to Christmas (more on that later)!

The font on the message paired with the wool reindeer is just so so homely.

8. Coffee Table with Reindeer Statue

I really like the reindeer statue idea for some Christmas decor! You could also incorporate multiple reindeer like Santa’s, or incorporate other animals like owls, foxes and wolves!

Overall this look is really nice and simple for a more easy going look for your coffee table.

9. Golden Christmas Aesthetic

a golden look for your coffee table christmas decor

Honestly I love the golden look, and this idea is put together really well with the plant, the golden trees, ornaments and the reindeer.

This kind of look is designated for you guys who have a certain favorite color palette. Just be sure to mix and match objects that go well with each other, especially with the gold. You wouldn’t want different types of gold as it wouldn’t be cohesive.

10. Creative Mini Houses with Candle

This is really minimalistic and almost contemporary in my opinion and I love it. Everything is on brand and it’s super cohesive. I love the ceramic houses a lot.

This is a good look for those coffee tables that are already quite clean and tidy, since the look is simple but really pretty.

11. Rustic Christmas Coffee Table Look

A typical go-to for Christmas decor, since it works and looks really well. I love the traditional vibe of this decor for the coffee table, since it adds some greenery to the space.

The tray is also quite cool, and the look can be done really well with some cheap items from Amazon or the dollar store!

12. Christmas Tree Forest

Adding a bunch of mini Christmas trees for your coffee table, replicating a Christmas tree farm is another unique and creative way to decorate your coffee table for Christmas!

If you do this idea, consider using and purchasing different shape and sizes of mini pine trees, so the finished look looks more organic and natural, like a real forest.

13. Basket of Ornaments on Coffee Table

a heightened white bowl filled with pinecones and ornaments

You can’t go wrong with a simple bowl look with some ornaments and pinecones. This look is really cohesive all around with the heightened candles, the house, and the white bowl.

However you don’t need to follow this color scheme, and you can make this work really well with bright and vibrant ornaments too!

14. Traditional Christmas Look

a simple traditional christmas decor look for your coffee table with sign and mini church

This mini church on the coffee table is just so cool and creative. Paired with the sign and the plant, just makes for a very simple, traditional yet really Christmassy feel.

Since this coffee table has multiple levels, I really like how they decorated the lower half with pinecones and spruce leaves.

If yours is similar, consider doing the same or be more creative and decorate it with a tray of ornaments, fake snow and little characters!

15. Santa Claus Tray

I really like the Santa Claus stand since it looks so vintage! Along with the basket and the bows around the plant and the candle, this makes for a really nice look for coffee table Christmas decor.

The reindeer stands add a lot of character too, and I really like the fake snow for some more creativity!

16. Festive Cookies and Silver Christmas Trees

If you like baking, and you really like cookies, you could consider adding a cookie jar on your coffee table! If you go one step further, you can make them festive cookies and put them into a festive looking jar for that Christmas decor look.

The stacked pinecones are also really nice, and I especially like the wooden tray, which really does look like the rings of a tree!

17. Christmas Countdown on Coffee Table

Nothing is more exciting than watching the days go by, getting closer and closer to Christmas. This look with the calendar is so cool, mixed with the mailbox. If you have kids, this look would really excite them!

Consider adding an elf on the shelf too which could hang around the coffee table too!

Closing

I really like all of these looks, and I think that they’re all pretty versatile so there should be a look for everyone on here!

When decorating your coffee table with Christmas decor, it’s important to consider the size of your table, the budget you had in mind, and the type of look you want to go for during the Christmas season.
